The Doctoral Degree in Computer Science Education

"I'm interested in Computer Science Education as a research area. How can I pursue such a degree?!"

At the University of Texas at Austin, there are several options for earning a Doctoral degree focused on Computer Science Education.

The two primary options are:

• the Science Education program
• the Mathematics Education program

Both of these groups are part of the Curriculum and Instruction Department within the College of Education This overview of the degree requirements for the CS Option is taken from the Mathematics Education brochure. The requirements are similar for both programs.
