Organization:

Prerequisites: At least one database course, undergraduate or graduate. Familiarity with relational algebra and data modeling will be assumed.

This is a seminar course.  Depending on the enrollment students will present one or two papers and write a research paper as a term project. There may be 1 or 2 homeworks. If so they will be in the first half the semester

Grading:   Grades will be determined by an equal weighting of the term project, quality of the presentation and class participation.  Since this is a seminar class, attendance is expected.  .
