About Me
My name is Eli Zunker and I'm currently a Senior at UT Austin pursuing a B.S. in
Computer Science with a Minor in Business. I will be graduating in August 2024, with
plans to move to Boulder, Colorado to begin work on the Drive Intelligence Team at
Google. Prior to UT Austin, I was born and raised in Round Rock, Texas, and attended
Round Rock HS (Go Dragons!).
My story in Computer Science is actually a fairly short one. I began seriously coding
my sophomore year of college after spending the first year as an undeclared major.
Despite having little to no coding experience previously (I took one class in HS) I decided
to take a leap of faith and act on a gut feeling and transfer into CS. Ever since, I've
enjoyed learning new topics in all different fields, whether it be Machine Learning or
Mobile Development! If you take one thing from my story, it's that it's never too late
to learn!
Outside of the techncial realm, I enjoy playing my guitars, staying
active in the gym, and being in the outdoors. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my
family and friends.
