During a class meeting, you will choose one required paper and do a short (approx. 10 minute) presentation on a part of the paper. Then there will be 5 minutes of discussion. Ideally, take one idea from the paper and find another reading to develop the point. For example, there is a paper about replicating the experiments in Xen (SOSP 2003). You could use that to discuss the experiments and the methodology. Don't just summarize the paper, pick something you find particularly interesting.
Please make a private post on ed discussion asking me for a day/paper that you would like to present.
During one of the last two class meetings, each project (pair or individual), will present their programming project.
