Our Mission

Provide mentorship, networking, and growth opportunities to Black students pursuing a career in tech.

The organization works to build and empower members of Texas Computer Science and the broader Black community to pursue technology related education and careers. We hope to inspire and equip the next diverse generation of thoughtful technologists!

ABCS Initiatives

Events centered around bridging connections between student and company recruiters and engineers. Providing opportunities to students to secure internships and full time opportunities. Additionally, benefiting companies by giving them access to diverse and talented students.

Corporate

Uplifting the broader community to learn more about CS opportunities. Empowering youth to pursue new and exciting topics in technology. Also aiming to provide support through mentorship.

Outreach

Ways to connect with the ABCS community and promote a supportive environment. In-person social events include: potlucks, karaoke, park days. Virtual events can be as exciting as playing virtual games like pictionary, code-names and jeopardy!
