You might want to keep a file called "local.bib" in your home directory. For a sample file, please see /u/mooney/local.bib.
We also have a collection of bibliographic entries in /u/ml/bib/lunar.bib on the UTCS file systems. You can use lunar.bib as a bibliographic data file for your papers. Periodically, our own bib files (/u/username/local.bib) are merged into lunar.bib.
Usually in your LaTeX document, you specify which bibliography file(s) to use. Here is a typical example. (username is to be replaced by a real username.)
\bibliography{/u/ml/bib/lunar,/u/username/local,/u/mooney/local}
Here is a manual page for generating bibliographies in LaTeX.
The html version of /u/ml/bib/lunar.bib is also available.
For more information about bibliographies and citations, check out NN Group's private page.
Still have questions? Please email to the bibliography manager for more information.
Please be sure to ALWAYS include acknowledgement to all of the grant(s)/fellowship(s) that supported you on the work on any published paper. If you don't know the grant number(s) from looking at previous publications, ask Ray. This is a critical legal requirement that should never be missed. (If an initial submission is anonymous then don't include acks on the submission but on the web version and any final version)

Please email to the publication manager with the following information about your paper.
Please remember to notify the publication manager as soon as your paper is accepted and also as soon as your paper is published (with the page numbers in which your paper appears for the latter case).
To summarize, you might want to email to the publication manager when:
Once you emailed your paper to the publication manager, he will assign a unique id to your paper. It will be kept unchanged in the future. You can find it out on the paper's abstract page. Here is an example. Please upload your paper's source files to /u/ml/papers/$id. The source files should be kept up-to-date. Please also upload your .ppt file if you have one.
