Planning
Planning attempts to find a sequence of actions that will
accomplish a goal.
Problems:
- Ordering of actions is important.
- Search space may be very large -- even infinite.
- Actions interact. Some actions may undo others or make later
actions impossible.
- Overall constraints may exist, such as total of a
conserved quantity (weight, cost, etc.).
- Minimizing cost of executing the plan is often important.
