Columbine Falls and the snowfield on the Chasm Lake trail are seen looking W. The trail can be seen as a dark line near the top right of the snowfield. The trail continues above the falls and across the grassy area, Chasm Meadows. Chasm Lake is above the rock bench at top, to the right. A small rock hut containing rescue equipment can be seen directly above the top of the falls; this hut has since been destroyed by an avalanche.
