The summit area of Mt. Richthofen is seen looking E. The route can be seen as a lighter-colored "trail" to the left of the ridge line and snow. Upon reaching the summit mass, a couloir at about 45 degrees is climbed to the summit. The lump on top of the summit is a wind-break made of stones, about 3-4 feet high.
