Unit 6.1.1 Your "talk"

All your materials are organized on a webpage as part of this program. When it comes time for your talk, the moderator will share his/her screen and will display the "In conclusion" slide. At that point, you say what you want to say to summarize your video and to kick off discussion. If you anticipate questions that will ask for additional visuals, please have those already on your desktop so that they can be easily shared.

The flow will roughly be that people will ask questions by raising their hands so that the moderator can give them a turn. However, it is quite likely that some will simply unmute and ask their question. Only if things get out of hand will we start enforcing the handraising.

If discussion dies down before the end of your 10 minutes, we will move on to the next person. The expectation is that questions will die down before 10 minutes are up. People can always arrange to have followup meetings if there are further questions.

We recommend that you join the zoom meeting prior to the 11:00 CDT start of the event starts, so you can become familiar with the setup and so we can help you if there are technical issues.
