Generalized Hough Transform
The principle of the Hough transform can be generalized to find
line patterns other than straight lines, e.g., circles.
- Map the image points into points in parameter space
- Threshold the histograms in parameter space
- Identify desired curves in original image.
This approach requires much more storage and computation as the number
of parameters increases.
