FOUNDATION COURSES
To earn the Big Data Certificate, students will need to complete the following courses:
- CS 363D (378H) Intro to Data Mining (Honors)
- CS 364D Advanced Data Mining* **
- CS 378 Big Data Programming
* Prerequisite: Intro to Data Mining.

Students will also need to take at least one of the following elective classes:
- CS 376 Computer Vision
- CS 378 Natural Language Processing
- CS 378 Introduction to Computational and Systems Biology
