The FoCS Career Brunch is the flagship UT Computer Science networking event, held the morning of the CNS Technology & Science Career Fair. The FoCS Career Brunch connects FoCS partners with UT Computer Science students through effective networking and recruiting conversations. This event offers companies the opportunity to educate students on their organization, discuss recruiting opportunities, and build their brand on campus.

Event Information

Each FoCS company will be assigned a cocktail table. Students will be encouraged to move around the room and visit with as many companies as possible.

We recommend that each company bring 3-4 representatives to the event. This will allow for appropriate student to company ratio and enough space for networking at your table. We encourage you to bring a mix of engineers and recruiting representatives. All company representative names are required to be submitted by Friday, February 2. Please email representative names to focs@cs.utexas.edu.

Student invitees will be selected by UT Computer Science, so please do not invite students to this event.

Signage will be provided for students to locate your company. Please do not bring banners or other signage to the event.

You are welcome to bring small marketing or giveaway items to place on your table. Please note that space is limited and the cocktail rounds are small, so compact items are preferred.

FoCS partners will have a pre-printed name tag for each company representative, and we will also provide table tents with your company name.

Parking
There are four parking garages located within walking distance of the Alumni Center: Brazos Garage, San Jacinto Garage, Manor Garage, and Trinity Garage.
Parking validation will be provided if you park in one of the UT Austin garages listed above.
