UTCS graduate Ken Calvert was elected to IEEE Fellow "for contributions to internet topology and active networks." Ken earned his Ph.D. from UTCS in 1991 under Simon Lam's supervision. Currently, Ken is Professor and Chair of the Computer Science Department at the University of Kentucky.
