UTCS Student Wins Academic Excellence Award

Mr. Victor Vu, a CS student in the BS/MS joint degree program has won the University Co-op/George H. Mitchell Undergraduate Student Awards for Academic Excellence. Mr. Vu's research on verifiable computation has helped to bring a body of powerful theory from wild implausibility to the verge of practicality. University Co-op/George H. Mitchell Undergraduate Student Awards for Academic Excellence

Faculty members nominate students who have demonstrated superior scholarly or creative achievement through a notable paper or thesis, research project, creative or artistic endeavor, or other product of the student’s academic work. Recipients are chosen by the Co-op Awards Selection Committee composed of University faculty.
