Alan Cline Appointed to Blunk Memorial Professorship
04/30/2013 - Professor Alan Cline has been appointed to the William David Blunk Memorial Professorship for 2013-14. The Professorship, awarded by the Provost, "recognizes a member of the faculty who has demonstrated an outstanding record both in undergraduate teaching and in concern for undergraduates as demonstrated through advising and general guidance given to students."

Honorees and speakers were Dr. Alan Cline, who has been accepted into the Academy of Distinguished Teachers at UT Austin and Dr. Simon Lam, winner of the 2004 Software System Award from the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).

07/11/2005 - Six faculty members from The University of Texas at Austin have been selected for membership in the university’s Academy of Distinguished Teachers. The academy is intended to recognize and enhance teaching, particularly at the undergraduate level.
