Alexander Levine is a postdoctoral fellow in the Institute for Foundations of Machine Learning at UT. He is advised by Professors Amy Zhang (UT ECE) and Peter Stone (UT CS). Alex's research interests include deep representation learning for control tasks, robust reinforcement learning, and goal-conditioned reinforcement learning. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland in 2023. During his Ph.D., he also worked on adversarial robustness in supervised deep learning, proposing several novel techniques for classification with stability guarantees under adversarial input perturbations.
