Andrew Hintz
Adjunct Assistant Professor

Andrew Hintz is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at UT Computer Science and a software engineer with over 20 years of experience in computer security. He is currently the Offensive Security Lead at Square and has previously worked at Google, the National Security Agency, IBM, Microsoft, and Litton Loan Servicing. He has experience in threat intelligence, vulnerability discovery, reverse engineering, and people management. At Google, he co-founded Google's penetration testing effort; and he invented, wrote, and launched Password Alert, which has over 805,000 users.
