Be patient! You will get all the information you need at your orientation session about registering and paying for classes, special programs, and everything else!
During Orientation:
Accumulate as much burnt orange gear as you can. You can never have enough burnt orange!
Attend all the optional orientation events! This is a great opportunity to find out about all the programs offered on campus so you can really take advantage of your time at UT!
Follow the orientation schedule that will provided to you to attend the College Meeting and the CS Advising Meeting
Read up on the CS First-year Pod Program to find out more about the program you'll be in for your first semester!
Plan your schedule with the advisors at the advising meeting and register for your classes during the assigned time! Don't worry about the Pod class, we'll add you to that one!
After Orientation:
Start packing! You're college-bound soon!
Brush up on your CS and Math knowledge before classes start utilizing the college readiness information given to you at Orientation and that will also be emailed to you! Although college is a lot of fun, it's also a lot of work and it's best if you hit the ground running in your classes!
