2.3 Linear Algebra Objects

  Distributed matrices, vectors, and scalars are collectively called linear algebra objects. The information that describes a linear algebra object is again encoded in an object. In this section, we describe the PLAPACK calls for creating and destroying linear algebra objects, and extracting the encoded information.
